What's Wrong With Harry?

While the Harry Potter books are basically aimed at elementary aged children, I'm sure some of your teens (and spouses) are into them as well. Now there's a Hollywood movie on the way.

If you have parents in your church asking about this massively popular series, here are some links to articles from Christian publications. You'll hit about every point of view on the spectrum (pro and con) with these. They can help parents, youth workers and youth decide on Harry's suitability.

My guess is that many 5-A-Day-Club members will share this parent's perspective:

Saul Goodman of Chevy Chase, Md., referring to his daughter Rebecca, 10, told The Post, "I'm just proud she's reading something, besides playing Nintendo or watching TV."

Feel free to share your thoughts after reading some of these articles. Send your comments to: post@5-a-day-club.net to share them with the group.
