5-A-Day Club Message
God for President!

There are many 5-A-Day Club members who live in countries outside of the United States. Some of those countries have democratic elections much like the ones we have in this country. Some do not.

Although my message today is geared toward those of us who live in the U.S., I believe other countries watch closely what we do as a nation, and I am prayerful that this message will be meaningful to many, regardless of which nation they call home.

On November 7th, in the USA, we have an opportunity to exercise a right and privilege of freedom, which many have given their lives to preserve. We must not take this freedom lightly.

On November 7th, we will vote for the individual we would like to become the next President of the United States of America. We will assemble in our respective polling places. Behind a curtain to insure privacy, we will move a lever, which will indicate who we believe will do the best job of leading our nation.

No one will know how we cast our vote--no one but God and ourselves.

As I point this out, I would encourage all who read this message, to vote prayerfully and unselfishly. There are issues, which are more important than how much money remains in our pockets.

My vote will not be for President of the United States, but for President of the Universe!

I do not pledge my allegiance to a flag, although I love this country, and consider myself to be patriotic. My ultimate allegiance is pledged to the creator of all that is. I owe my allegiance to my Lord and Savior. He blesses individuals and nations that love him and obey his commandments. A vote for him is a vote for continued prosperity and success (which by the way, after practicing good stewardship, includes how much money remains in our pockets).

I am interested in a leader who answers to a higher authority. I am interested in a leader who will consult God before and after consulting heads of state. I am interested in a leader who will meditate on God's word for direction before taking action and making difficult decisions. I am interested in a leader who will send God before him, when attending summits with leaders of other nations.

Many today do not believe in a creator who conveys to us the difference between right and wrong... a faith known as "Secular Humanism". I am interested in a leader who believes that absolute truth exists. That truth has been created by God and as we seek to understand it, truth continues to exist, regardless of how we "feel" about it.

God gets my vote. I want God in control of my country.

Know where the candidates stand on the issues, know who the candidates are spiritually, pray about it, and then vote for God.

As Christians, we are called to make ALL of our decisions, spiritual decisions, for we are not HUMAN beings having a spiritual experience, but rather SPIRITUAL beings having a human experience.

VOTE.
